NEW DELHI

After morning breakfast, do a full-day guided city sightseeing of Delhi. The capital of India is a true reflection of the old and new of India. We start our morning tour with New Delhi and first visit the famous India Gate - a war memorial dedicated to the thousands of Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting in the battle during the World War-I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. Spend some time taking photographs at the war memorial, followed by a drive past through the Houses of Parliament and Connaught Place. Iconic to Delhi, the two attractions offer an inviting view of the British colonial era architecture. Arrive at Old Delhi, here you will enjoy a rickshaw ride and explore the hubbub yet the charming side of the old part of Delhi city. Visit the 361-year-old Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India with a courtyard that can hold up to 25,000 devotees. The elegant looking mosque with onion-shaped dome and minarets was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, who built the famous Taj Mahal. Moving ahead in your tour, you will drive past the UNESCO World Heritage site designated Red Fort - [Closed on Monday] that served as the imperial residence of the Mughal dynasty for around 200 years. Built of red sandstone, the construction of the fort took nine years to complete, which started in 1639. Enclosed with massive high walls, the fort is a wonderful structure to admire. You will now proceed to Humayun’s tomb, a magnificent garden tomb, and the first to mark the grave of a Mughal emperor. It was built in 1565 A.D. by Bega Begum - senior widow of emperor Humayun, nine years after his demise. The arched exterior facade is inlaid with bands of white and red sandstone, and Islamic geometrical style strictly dominates the building’s structure and design. Lastly, proceed to another World Heritage Site in Delhi to Qutub Minar – a brick minaret towering 72 meters into the sky, 15 meters diameter at the base and a mere 2.5 at the top. Built in 1192, Qutub Minar is the highest single tower in India, and perhaps the tallest minaret in the world. (Distance:- Delhi to Agra 210 km./ 4 hrs.) Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Today, you will visit the symbol of love built in complete Marble, Taj Mahal (Remains closed on every Friday) is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It surely is the most extravagant expression of love ever created by 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Agra. Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sandstone; it houses the beautiful and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. Also, visit the Itmad-ud-daulah Tomb. Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. (Distance:- Jhansi to Khajuraho 200 km./ 4 hrs.) After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Agra Railway Station to board the train to Jhansi. On arrival, get picked by our representative & transfer to Khajuraho hotel. En route visit Orchha. Here, visit Raja Ram Temple & Orchha Fort. Later, arrive at Khajuraho & check-in at the hotel. BANDHAVGARH

An early morning Jeep Safari experience awaits for you, begin your day with bed tea and some biscuits and leave for an adventure. The safari ride into the jungles of Bandhavgarh National Park is a thrilling experience and extensive one too. The duration of the safari is about five hours, the ride is made better with the knowledge of an experienced guide. You return back to the resort at around 11 am for lunch and after that, you can take some rest. The evening Jeep Safari begins at 3 pm, you depart to have another kicking experience in the jungle and return after three hours. On your return, your evening tea awaits for you, followed by dinner.
