Mt. Victoria and Chin Discovery trekking trip is a combination of cultural sightseeing in old Chin villages and trekking to the Mt. Victoria, which lies in Natmataung national park in Southern Chin State. This tour is designed for all travelers who want to visit Chin villages by trekking or not. If you don’t want to trek, you can skip the trekking to the summit of Mt.Victoria and visit some more authentic Chin villages just by walking. Well come!
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Our experienced guide will meet and welcome you at the Airport. Transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Downtown area; Sule Pagoda, City Hall, Pansodan Street (Colonial building Area), world famous Shwedagon Pagoda (2600 years old).Overnight at hotel.
Stepping to the Real Lives. Morning flight to Bagan, Breakfast on board. Arrive and Road trip over rocky & bumpy ground to Mindat, it’s testing your guts & eager. But a smart 4 wheels drive vehicle will bring you safely and let them know you are coming. On the way, you will find out you’ve just entered the gate of nature and you will see there is no frontier between the artificial & real world. The temperature is getting low and the weather makes you refreshing through the dust as it is going up to 1480 meter above the sea level.However, it takes a long drive to reach there and you may arrive Mindat just before sunset, the whole road trip will not bother you. Because it is full of surprising calls from the nature.You will see numerous gangs of cattle running through the crops plantations & meadows. You may enjoy taking photos with the local villagers. Let’s the journey begin to face the thrilling Chin Tribes with their real existence. Breakfast at Resort. Starting the journey to Chechaung and fabulous trekking to Kyardo village where your Chin local guide will introduce you the local lives up there. They are still living & surviving the ways quite nearly close to the stone ages as they grow their own plantations (maze, beans, tea) and they hunt their own preys. And it would be proudly to show the head skeleton of the animals in front of their houses, they have achieved hunting. We will have lunch in Kyardo and be trekking up till we reach Lop Pe village. The trekking is not really quite a challenge, but the sceneries are so attractive that you need to see various species of birds hosting in the evergreen forest of large oaks and laurels which later changes into a dry low pine forest with rhododendron. After breakfast, excursion to Mt. Victoria (Nat Ma Taung) , the third highest Mountain in Myanmarwhich is 10018 feet , and hiking a distance of 15 miles from the old Kan Petlet town, driving 10 miles by car from resort and start hiking to till summit of Mt.Victoria .Where can observe of over 200 species birds, you will see Chin Tribe’s villagers along the way . A very good trip we would like to recommend hotel in Bagan with fantastic View,This resort is very well located in old Bagan with easy access to the temples. Restaurant is good with variety. we went on a 15 days trip in myanmar. the itinerary was all planned out according to where we want to go and what we should see. the plan was wonderful. the different guides we got in different cities were AMAZING!!!! we visited yangon, bagan, mandalay, inle lake and back to yangon. transportations were all covered for. the guides even went extra miles to confirm our flight, talked to our coach company and makes sure were were in good hands. The guides also check that our hotel is ok for us etc, always making sure we are safe and happy. i coouldn't thank Zema more because i am so grateful to have engaged their service and get to see this beautiful country and people! This is a holiday of memories to last. Enchanting gentle people, beautiful countryside, amazing temples, vibrant markets,crafts and long past building and agricultural practises. Our wonderful guide Win Win shared all this with us, led us on walks through lovely hillside villages,thoughtfully getting our driver to find me a bamboo stick, visiting houses, drinking green tea, watching back strap weaving and the next family meal being prepared. A balloon trip at Bagan was was quite magical, the mist rolling away to reveal the temples. Finally in Nyaung Shwe, shopping in the market with Myo for the ingredients for our cookery class.
