Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the National Park of Foz do Iguaçu and visit of to the Brazilian side of the falls and Bird Park:
Located on the border of 3 countries - Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, the Iguaçu falls, classified by Unesco as `World heritage`, are a must see natural
site for those passionate about nature Upon arrival in the National Park the guide will walk you towards the Brazilian part of the falls. You will have a chance to see the approximately 280 falls that cover Brazil and Argentina from several points. The majority of the falls are on the Argentinean side, but the spectacle is definitely Brazilian. There is enough free time to take magnificent pictures while we have a buffet lunch at the PORTO CANOAS (optional) restaurant alongside the river that leads to the falls.
After lunch we depart for the Bird Park. It’s just outside of the National Park but still inside of the Atlantic rainforest and is a model for the correct way to put animals on display. Most of the birds and reptiles are free and it is we the visitors who walk through their cages and are able to get very close to the multitude of exotic species. The reptiles, such as Caimans and Anacondas are off course safely enclosed, but still in relatively natural surroundings. An absolute must.
The visit will take around 6 hours and is accompanied by an English speaking guide.
Return to your hotel and overnight.
