Breakfast at the hotel
We will start the day with a morning tour to Grand Palace, The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an
ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces which were used
for different occasions: the Funeral
Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest
House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. After that visit Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with
its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings.
Afternoon, visit Wat Trimit with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5 ½ tons of solid gold). Then Visit Jim Thompson’s house
the remarkable Thai-style house, was the work of Mr. Jim Thompson, an American who came to Thailand at the end of
the Second War War and revived the Thai Silk industry. On permanet displays are Mr. Thompson’s collection of Asian
artifacts, such as blue-white China ware, Cambodian stone figures, benjarong (a multi-coloured porcelain), wooden
Burmese statues and many other fabulous antiques. Transfer to hotel and accommodation.
Lunch will be served at restaurant during the tour.
