After breakfast we drive to Jozani. It is a home of endangered red Columbus monkeys. Wonderful photo opportunities and sightings of these rare creatures living in the forest reserves are possible on the pathways. Our guides are also naturalists and nature lovers will have a wonderful time in the nature reserve. It is estimated that there are now between 2,000-2,500 monkeys. After breakfast we'll drive to Kinzimkazi beach for safari blue tour. This is a full day trip on locally constructed sailing dhows, fitted with outboard motors, marine VHF radios, life jackets and other security requirements. The dhow anchors in a safe and shallow area to allow for snorkeling. High quality snorkeling materials are provided, and a large range of sizes is available. Lunch is served on a sand bank or on one of the many uninhabited island in the region. A traditional dish of barbecued fish, rice, lentils and fish curry is serves. Chilled fruit juice, mineral water, and bottled soft drinks are available throughout the tour. After lunch, clients can sail on an outrigger canoe carved out of a single mango tree, snorkel and swim or just relax. Everything was well organized and taken care of. Our driver / guide spoke very good English and was extremely knowledgable. No question he couldn't answer! He did a remarkable job spotting animals/tracks..., thus providing an unforgettable experience for us. We especially enjoyed the boat safari and the walking safari with a local bushman. We (couple from Belgium) had a seven day long safari with Malengo Tours. Communication with us upfront was very good. We were very pleased with the safari. Bakari, Amani and Milka were wonderful company. They contributed to making this experience smooth and pleasureful. The driver and wild animal guide managed to find the hidings of some wild animals such as lions and hyenas. We saw elephants, giraffes, impallas, gnoos, buffalos, lions, hyena and others. Accommodation and breakfast, lunch and dinner were well prepared. Half of the time, it was the they who prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner (good cooking skills).
