After breakfast at your hotel, then we will start the tour by visiting the most famous temple in Indonesia called Borobudur. Follow the life of Buda carved on its wall from which we can learn how Buddhist’ life was. We can also visit Pawon and Mendut temples afterward. After breakfast, we visit the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia called Prambanan, and is the most beautiful Hindus temples in Southeast Asia Then Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta is the main point to visit in this town. Here we can see the Javanese sample of architecture with its joglo building style. And the joglo in the palace is real representative of Javanese architecture which has also philosophy meaning. Pick up a quite early from your accommodation (about 07.00 for the latest), then we drive which takes about 3,5 hours to Wonosobo town. This town is the town gate of Dieng plateau. Then drive up again through mountainous way with beautiful scenery of vegetables such as carrot, cabbage, potato or tobacco depends on the season. If the weather is clear you can even see Sindoro and Sumbing in your side. Arriving in Dieng plateau, we go to Dieng temple complex which is estimated to be built in around 8th century and becomes the oldest Hindus temple in Indonesia. Hotel: Generally good hotel – good outdoor area, polite staff, good breakfast selection. Hotel rooms could be updated esp bathrooms. Some problems with cleanliness-dirty bed sheets, overall dampness in the room + no way to ventilate. Bitten several times overnight. Could do with an in-room book explaining hotel, room service hotel facilities etc. Comment: At all times tour was on time+pick ups stress-free. Both very friendly, welcoming warm. Good insight into Indonesian cultures. Good communication with ourselves+good arrangements with other tour guides etc. If more time would have liked to see more of the city center- walling etc. Enjoyed food, art introduction, temple visits- opportunity to see temples on our own also – freedom to explore after being explained to.
