After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive.

There is simply no better place to observe large carnivores (lion, hyena, cheetah and leopard) in action in the wild along with a diversity of smaller predators (three species of jackals; blacked-back jackal, golden jackal and the more secretive side-striped jackal, bat-eared fox, serval and sandy-colored caracal. You will continue to explore the northern areas of the Serengeti, from the Mara River to the rolling hills of the northern plains we will focus on photographing the game that is unique to this area. If luck is on our side, we will also have a chance to capture a river crossing, as the wildebeest and zebra return to Tanzania from Kenya. We will be out most of these days for full days and will have a wonderful picnic lunches with us to further enjoy our surroundings. Returning in the late afternoons with plenty of time for charging batteries, image downloading, and image review in our dedicated camera tech tent, your days will be filled with excitement and photographic opportunities. This is your last morning in the Serengeti. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast or perhaps head out early for a short early morning game drive before traveling to Kogatende Airstrip to catch your scheduled flight back to Arusha. Upon pick-up, make an optional stop a local shop with an abundance of wood carvings, artifacts, paintings and crafts.
