We will start our adventure in Argentina's never sleeping capital: Buenos Aires. We will walk through the city, attend a traditional Tango show and visit the Delta del Tigre area. Then, continue to the capital of the neighbouring country, Montevideo, in Uruguay. Visit the city and enjoy a traditional dinner & Show, then go for a day tour to Colonia de Sacramento, a beautiful colonial village.
Upon arriving at the airport of Buenos Aires (Ezeiza or Aeroparque), you will be received and transferred to your selected hotel in the city centre. The rest of the day will be free, to enjoy it as you prefer. Take advantage of Buenos Aires' vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere!
The day starts with a walking tour in Buenos Aires. Around 10 am we departure from our offices to explore the city, it's most beautiful and interesting places. The tour is done walking and travelling by public transport, to visit the Centre, San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta, where our tour ends. Ideal walk to take photos and tour areas outside the massive tourist circuit. The tour ends around 4:30 pm. At night, between 8 and 8:30 we will pick you up at your hotel to enjoy a beautiful dinner accompanied by an unforgettable Tango Show. The event will take place in El Querandí, one of the most popular Tanguerías in the neighbourhood of San Telmo. You will taste a gourmet three-course dinner with a wide selection of typical dishes and regional wines. Then, witness an incredible show, which reviews the History of Tango with different dance partners and singers. At the end, around midnight, you will be returned to your hotel. Read more
The tour departures from the boat terminal in the luxurious neighbourhood of Puerto Madero, where you will have to meet your guide at 09:45 hrs, from there, sail through the Rio de la Plata and the Delta area, to enjoy the best views of the city. Once in Tigre, there is a bus tour, to get to know the main attractions. Continue with a tour on foot through the famous market of Puerto de Frutos. Finally, we will return to Buenos Aires by train to the Retiro station, where the Tour ends. Read more
A driver will be waiting for you at your hotel to take you embark your ferry to Montevideo, Uruguay. Once you get to Montevideo, another driver will take you to your selected hotel.
Morning three hour tour to the most “characteristic” places in town that will allow you to get to know Uruguayan life and culture. Walk around the "Old City" and enjoy the European architecture of the buildings, visit the Gaucho Museum, the colourful street markets (depending of the day – street markets are available to visit during Saturdays and Sundays). The tour includes the classical visit to the traditional Port Market, and the famous art galleries. Continue to the residential neighborhood of Carrasco, Punta Gorda and Pocitos and the lovely “Rambla” along the coastline of the city will complete this amazing landscape. On the evening, you will be picked up to go to see a great performance with more than 35 artists, including singers, musicians, dancers and actors, plus a live orchestra. The show begins and ends with a candombe performance, which is an African-influenced musical genre and one of the most significant aspects of Afro- Uruguayan culture. Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and start the 177 kilometres journey. Before arriving at Colonia, we will stop to visit the unique city of Nueva Helvecia also called Colonia Suiza (Swiss Colony) Once in Colonia del Sacramento, we will visit it's Historical Districts, declared Historical Patrimony of Mankind in December 1995 by UNESCO. We will also visit the Rambla Costanera, the Real de San Carlos with its old Bullring, the Church of San Benito and the residential neighborhoods of the city. A driver will take you from your hotel to the ferry station, to board your ferry back to Buenos Aires. Once you have arrived, our transportation service will be waiting for you at the port to take you to Ezeiza or Aeroparque airport. -- End of Buenos Aires & Montevideo.
