Morning three hour tour to the most “characteristic” places in town that will allow you to get to know Uruguayan life and culture. Walk around the "Old City" and enjoy the European architecture of the buildings, visit the Gaucho Museum, the colourful street markets (depending of the day – street
markets are available to visit during Saturdays and Sundays). The tour includes the classical visit to the traditional Port Market, and the famous art galleries. Continue to the residential neighborhood of Carrasco, Punta Gorda and Pocitos and the lovely “Rambla” along the coastline of the city will complete this amazing landscape.
On the evening, you will be picked up to go to see a great performance with more than 35 artists, including singers, musicians, dancers and actors, plus a live orchestra. The show begins and ends with a candombe performance, which is an African-influenced musical genre and one of the most significant aspects of Afro- Uruguayan culture. In addition, guests will enjoy the dances and songs of the tango and milonga as well as folk music. In addition to the show, a traditional three course meal will be served.
