Arrive at the airport and your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and take you on a short ride (30mins) to Madaba. Your overnight stay is in Madaba. Madaba

After breakfast, your guide will meet you and take you on a walk around Madaba. Visit the mosaics at St George's Church and the church floors at the archaeological park – before heading onto Mt Nebo, the site where Moses was buried. Your guide will take you to the viewpoint where you can see (depending on the weather) the Promised Land. Then, your driver will take you down to the Dead Sea for a swim in this extremely salty lake, and to have lunch. You will continue to the Dead Sea Highway and then turn up into the mountains, and your next stop is at Karak Castle, one of the largest crusader castles in the Middle East. After a break for lunch, you will continue south along the King’s Highway, an ancient trade route, which winds through the mountains and small towns, along the way stopping briefly at Dana Nature Reserve for the views over the Great Rift Valley. Petra

Today you have a full day to visit world heritage and UNESCO site Petra. Your guide will meet you in the morning and walk with you through the mystic Siq, explaining the carvings and temples along the way. You will find the impressive Treasury at the end of the canyon and then the rest of this enormous city opens up – climb up to the High Place of Sacrifice or the largest temple – the monastery, explore the Roman theater and colonnaded street. At the end of the day, you will be transferred south down to the beautiful Wadi Rum desert, where you will spend the night under the stars, a Bedouin dinner is included. Read more

After breakfast, you have a jeep safari to explore the beauty of the desert – visit the Nabatean inscriptions, canyons, sand-dunes and Lawrence of Arabia’s House. Then it’s time for your transfer back north to the airport, for your flight home.
