Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Here, the Great Rift Valley is at its most impressive, with the escarpment dropping some 500 metres down to the lakeshore. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes. Troops of several hundred olive baboon appear alongside Sykes monkey and short-eared galago. Cape clawless otter, Egyptian mongoose, hippo and klipspringer are other park residents. Spend one night at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge in a tree house. Read more
Today, you will make your way to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Overnight In Ngorongoro Crater Lodge Day 3 - 5 The Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. Some maintain that before it erupted, it would have been higher than Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 m deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Endangered black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lions stalk the grasslands, and flamingos crowd the soda lakes. An estimated 25 000 large mammals are resident in this bowl of plenty, including a population of approximately 6 000 resident wildebeest, 16 highly endangered black rhino and around 70 lions. Cheetah move in and out of the Crater, while leopard are most often encountered in the spectacular Lerai Forest. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, consistently recognised as one of the world’s most luxurious and elegant places to stay, sits right on the edge of the Crater, offering unbeatable views of one of the natural travel wonders of the world. Spend two nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in a suite. Your stay includes accommodation, meals, game drives, laundry, soft drinks, house wines and local brand spirits. • 1B,1L,1D • Accommodation : Crater Lodge Read more

I used them for Kilimanjaro and had a fantastic experience. The guides Ellie, Richard and Paul were very professional and fun to be around. They pushed us when we needed pushing and I don't think we would have summited without them! Ellie has been a guide for over 20 years and was summited literally
Expect in Africa Safari exceeded my expectations. Our driver was Raymond. Raymond was extremely knowledgeable, he had an answer for every question we had. He was able to use his knowledge of birds and animals to locate every animal we wanted to see. He was professional and kind. We will be returning with our children and using Raymond again. We also loved the accommodations. We felt safe and the tents were clean and spacious. If you are considering safari, this company is who you need to book with. Read more
