One of the best tours I have so far! My friend, my sister, and I joined the Tibet Highland 6 days 5 nights tour starting on June 29, 2017. As non-Chinese citizens, we were required to have a permit to enter Lhasa. The tour company provided very professional service that made the process super easy. We really enjoyed the tour – the agenda was very well planned, the hotel was located in the heart of old town Lhasa, and our tour guide DamDul was the best!!! Read more

An unforgettable trip! My husband and I traveled to Lhasa for 5 days with Tibet Highland Tours. Prior to arriving in Lhasa, Passang was very helpful over email. He suggested a wonderful itinerary for our short time in Tibet. Once we arrived our guide Tenzin was extremely helpful. We found our guide to be kind, welcoming and very knowledgeable about Tibetan culture and Buddhism. Both Passang and Tenzin's English was of a very high standard. For us the highlight was the beautiful Potala Palace and watching monks debate scripture. I wish we could have stayed longer and seen more Tibet. I emailed a number of tour companies prior to going with this one and they were much more expensive for the same itinerary. I would recommend this company and if I returned to Tibet I would use Tibet Highland Tours again. Read more

We joined 10 Days Lhasa-Everest Base Camp- Namtso lake with Tibet Highland Tours and it was excellent. It's always my dad's dream to go to Tibet and finally his dream came true, in such an incredible way. I am glad that chose Tibet Highland Tours, their well designed itinerary and brilliant service left us the memory for life. They are a lovely team with group of beautiful people. Passang has been my consultant from the start and he is very patient and prompt with every of my question. He has tried to give me as much detail as I need. Tibet is a special place with a totally different culture and all different rules, I asked many questions before hitting on the road to ensure a stress-free trip like many of the Tibet first timers. Passang was polite and patient with all my concerns. But I would not have worried so much if I knew this was such a great and experienced agent. Lobsang was our tour guide and he is a young man that ready for his clients at all times. He is a little shy, but it doesn't mean that he is not a good guide interpreter. We were all benefited from his knowledge, especially when there were many aggressive souvenir sellers along the way and Lobsang gave us all the tips needed for an enjoyable time. Nice breakfast provided every morning, comfortable accommodation with 4 stars at the majority, experienced driver Zhaxidawa gave us a very safe journey, all these are indispensable parts to make an unforgettable experience, along with the amazing and second to none scenery of Tibet! The only thing was when we were being transferred to the airport. We were supposed to be sent directly to the airport by the tour organiser but got sent to a bus station instead, they asked us to take the airport bus ourselves at their expenses. They put us in a taxi and prepaid for us in the end but we got held by the taxi driver as he tried to get more passengers on the road to go together before he wanted to leave. Our tour organiser had to pay some additional fare to the driver to get us on the road eventually. It wasn't the biggest drama, and the tour organiser has been responsible that they stayed at the station until saw us leaving with the taxi. But we got stressed as we needed to catch the flight and the taxi driver was not a friendly looking guy, we were just hoping that in good hands and get to the airport on time with no other issues on the way. This could have been a smoother ending if the tour organiser arranged in a better way. Overall, Tibet Highland Tours is highly recommended to anyone who wants to see Tibet with a tour, for their itinerary, experience, no forced shopping at all, small group are all the reasons that you want to choose them.
