Pick up from the hotel and then prepare for a day trip to Ayutthaya to explore of the most historical sites. Before you reach Ayutthaya, Bang Pa-In is on the way. You will visit Bang Pa-In, a summer palace, and there you will see many kinds of building styles such as European, Thai, Chinese, etc. The
palace was before abandoned and later renovated by King Rama 5 in the 19th century.
Before arrival to Ayuthaya, you will stop to one restaurant for Thai set buffet lunch. You will do the Ayutthaya city tour on arrival. Ayutthaya was a capital of the kingdom of Siam before the war with the Burmese in the 18th century. There are lots of ruins of stupas, beautiful stupas, temples and amazing scenes. It is said that Ayutthaya has marvellous vestiges of this period when this kingdom and France had very close relations. Take time to visit Wat Mahathat and also a banyan tree where you will see the head of the Buddha is enclosed. With this also visit Wat Ratburana and his Khmer style chedi. Lastly, visit The Mongkol Bophit and his bronze Buddha, the majestic Wat Chai Wattanaram.
After the visit, come to the surrounding and take a pancake which is popularly known as Roti Saimai. This Roti Saimai is a speciality of this place. End of the tour for the day and return to Bangkok
