We reached home last night, and realized that our trip was unfortunately over. In the past two weeks, we absolutely had a great time in China with Nimbus Travel. First of all, their comprehensive services were most professional and delightful. Before starting our trip, we changed our plans several times in order to reach the perfect one since it was our first travel to China, and the members at Nimbus helped us with every details and tried best to give us nice suggestions to make our trip better. They were patient and friendly. Turned out, our trip was the best one that we could imagine, with all the sites we wanted to see and all the activities that we wished to take included. Thanks for their perfect planning. They do know China the best. In our trip, the hotels and restaurants were satisfying as well. In Beijing, our hotel was clean and tidy, near the site, and the breakfast there was diversified and delicious. We can either choose traditional Chinese soup bun or Western bread and bacon. Coffee was also available. For lunch and dinner, we mostly went to local restaurant, instead of being served with a set menu, we were encouraged to order by ourselves and our guide Emma were always there to give us nice tips. We all loved her. At sites, we enjoyed the introduction for each piece of art and the history of every place, especially in Xian. China does enjoy the profound history and unparalleled civilization. And our tour guide Trisha seemed to do very well in Chinese history and archaeology, which made our stay in Xian very meaningful and interesting. In Yunnan and Guilin, we were totally indulged in the enchanting and breathtaking scenery with green rugged mountains and crystal clear lakes. I liked the part when we cycled at the countryside in Yangshuo, it was like pacing in time, relaxing and refreshing. In Guizhou, we encountered the most featured minority culture. Our tour guide Gina showed us in the Miao minority village, and told us all kinds of Miao minority custom. We even visited one local family, and surprisingly, they treated us with a hearty and delicious meal, and even danced for us. How fascinating is that. We ended up dancing with them too. As for Shanghai, a modern city combined with profound eastern culture, and also a nice place to wrap up our wonderful trip in China. For other things, um... Our drivers were nice and punctual. We love the food, except something too strange that we just didn’t want to try. And we didn’t spend lots of money on shopping since they never forced that, which was fair enough. Above all, we were very pleased with our first tour in China. Thanks to Nimbus Travel, we were given a great introduction of China. We love this country. If we were going to plan another trip to China, we will definitely choose Nimbus again. Yes, next trip we may go to see Panda. Read more
The tour was excellent; we especially liked the great wall, the terracotta warriors and the bike tour around the old city of Xian, the boat cruiser in beautiful Li River. Of course we saw lots of other places and enjoyed them as well! Our tour guides were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. Three of them spoke excellent English, the fourth guide had a little bit accents, but we were fine with that, and actually it sounds pretty interesting. He also taught us a few lines of daily Chinese that we managed to use during our travel, which was really amazing. One more thing worth mentioning was that when we decided to do some extra activities while in China, not on the tour, and the company helped us out with that professionally and pleasantly, which was out of our expectation. Overall, we are very satisfied with our tour in China with Nimbus. If we were going to go back we would certainly use Nimbus Travel again. Read more
We got back safely to Bangalore after an amazing trip with great weather, great food and great professionalism of our tour operator in China. We want to thank Nimbus team especially for the great support they provided right from the word go. Their attention to details and above all the client care that they provided were excellent. Thank you again. And our tour guide Lewis of Beijing was the best among the three guides. He understood us well and gave us the time to absorb as moved from site to site. Great guy! Julie of Xian was the next best. Perhaps over prepared and enthusiastic. Look forward to using your services again. Read more
