Your guide will meet you at 0800hrs for the guided tour of the Victoria Falls. This is a two hours trip which will take you to the falls via the big Baobab tree and ends at the open curio market after the falls tour. At 1100hours you will be picked up for the African Village tour, again a two hours trips that will take you to the village where you will get to meet the locals in their daily dance for survival. They will be happy to show you around their homes, sample their meals and to answer as many questions as you may have. You will be in town at around 1300hrs in time for Lunch. We will then meet at 1530hrs for the afternoon game drive in the S&L Pvt Game reserve. The reserve is only 15 minutes` drive from the Hotel and is one of the big five parks around Victoria Falls offering realistic chances of encountering all the big five in one drive.. At 0730hrs you will be transferred to Chobe national park in Botswana for the two days and two nights camping safari. The trip starts with a 3 hours of game viewing from the boat on the Chobe River and will be followed by a buffet lunch at the Chobe Safari lodge (or similar). After lunch it will be time for 4x4 game viewing, exploring the riverfront en route to Camp which is guaranteed to impress even seasoned Safari goers. This is the best time to see Chobe’s large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink. The drive will take us to camp shortly after sunset for drinks around the camp fire and dinner. You will be woken at dawn with warm water being poured into canvas wash basins. After a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light Continental breakfast vehicles head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or the rare Wild Dogs as they are still active and chances of seeing them hunting or on a kill are good. Around mid to late morning guests return to camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and a siesta getting an opportunity to read rest or take a refreshing bush bucket shower. When the day starts to cool off another afternoon game drive follows afternoon tea, and good sightings are revisited or areas as yet unexplored are visited. This is our last day in Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe, after breakfast we will leave for Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport (Zambia); departure times will be determined by the flight times
The trip was perfect. We enjoyed the safari and had a chance to see the famous big five. The vehicles were comfortable and the guides were so informative and everything. The guides managed to answer all our question and gave us satisfactory answers.
These guys were so amazing starting from the pick up from the airport up to the end. We really enjoyed the comb package as it included everything form transfers to activities which gave us enough time to enjoy ourselves. Keep it up guys.
