The trip Departs every Wednesday with a minimum 2 guests Visit the Ngonngoro Crater, the Serengeti and Lake Manyara National Parks on your 6 day tour of Tanzania. You will be treated to magnificent sites and sounds throughout the trip.
Day Itinerary. Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and assisted to your safari Vehicle. Transfer to Arusha for lunch, thereafter drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands to your lodge situated on the rim of the crater. On this Ngorongoro Crater tour you will discover that it covers over 300 square kilometres of land and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. After a day of exploration on Ngorongoro Crater Tour, comes dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Perched on the jagged rim of the crater, wreathed in morning mist, camouflaged in river-stone and cloaked in indigenous creepers, the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is a triumph of ecological and architectural fusion. Day Itinerary After breakfast drive to Oldupai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. In the afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, home of the tree-climbing lions. Apart from the varied types of landscape including jungle, swamp and savanna, on the Lake Manyara tour you will also find a large variety of animals including Giraffe, Zebra, Elephant, Gazelle, hippos, monkeys and about 400 different species of birds.
