Discover the historical gems of Mandalay with its ancient capitals and explore the beauty of Inle Lake by boat.

Cultural charme of Yangon

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives. Your sightseeing tour starts afterwards. First, walk along the former business district in Yangon, where you can still admire the architectural gems from the colonial era. You will also stroll past various food stalls and get a glimpse of the variety of Burmese cuisine. After your walk, you visit the so-called "Secretariat", former administrative center while Myanmar was under British rule. Before heading to the popular Bogyoke Aung San Market, make a stop at Pann Nann Ein. Here you can buy local handmade products such as unique postcards. The shop supports the foundation and contributes to education and medical care for disadvantaged people. In the afternoon, visit the reclining Buddha Chauk Htet Gyi, a significant site for Buddhists. Before the sun sets, you head to the splendid Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most important religious sites in whole Myanmar. Bagan: Sightseeing by bicycle

In the early morning, you get picked up and transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Nyaung U (Bagan). Upon arrival, you will explore the archaeological sites of the ancient city by bicycle. This is not only a very sustainable way of traveling. You will also explore Bagan off the beaten track and discover many hidden temples and pagodas, where most of the tourists do not visit. Also, you are flexible enough to make as many photo stops as you like. The tour starts by taking a little stroll through the Nyaung U market. Afterwards, explore the ancient city by visiting the most sacred pagodas and temples in Bagan such as the Shwezigon Pagoda, a prototype for many other stupas in Myanmar, or one of Bagan’s most famous sites, the Ananda Pagoda. Together with your guide, you are flexible to stop along the way to take photos. In the afternoon, the tour continues by visiting Minnanthu village, an agricultural village in the middle of the archaeological zone. The village mainly produces sesame and peanut oil. during your visit, you will gain insight into the production. Head to Phwar Saw village afterwards to meet its friendly people and learn about their traditions. Bagan: Excursion to Mt. Popa

It takes 777 steps to reach the top of the mountain. After climbing the mountain, you will visit the well-known monastery, which is home of the spirits called "Nats", but also be rewarded by the magnificent views of the surrounding National park. You get picked up after breakfast at your hotel in Bagan to drive to Mount Popa. Upon arrival, you will be surprised about a large number of monkeys jumping and crossing your walkway, while climbing up the 777 steps to the top of the mountain. Take a walk around the monastery and enjoy the beauty of the panorama surrounding the National park of Mount Popa. After sightseeing, you will take the bicycle back to Bagan. On the way, you visit a workshop that makes products made out of materials from palm trees. Read more

Bagan - Mandalay & Sunset in Amarapura

Today you will transfer to Mandalay by car. Arriving in the afternoon, you will head to Amarapura, one of the ancient capitals around Mandalay. Here you will see the famous U-Bein Bridge, the world's longest bridge made out of teak wood. It features 1,086 pillars that stretch out of the water, some of which have been replaced with cement. The U-Bein bridge is one of Myanmar's most popular photo spots, especially during sunset. Read more

Cycling Tour to Innwa & Sagaing

Today's cycling tour will lead us to Sagaing, located by the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Sagaing is an important religious and monastic center. You will visit multiple pagodas and monasteries cover the hills along the ridge after crossing the Irrawaddy Bridge. After sightseeing in Sagaing, head to the former royal capital of Innwa, which was founded in 1364. It is worth to visit the "Leaning Tower of Innwa", an old watchtower as well as the remains of monasteries such as the Bagaya and the Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery. Mandalay & Mingun Sightseeing

Before visiting Mandalay, take a boat upriver to Mingun. Mingun is known for its huge unfinished pagoda. Originally the pagoda was supposed to be the highest in the world, but it was partially destroyed by an earthquake. Nearby you can also visit the Mingun Bell, which received its own 'museum' after the earthquake, and the beautiful Hsinbyume Pagoda, which is very different from any other typical pagodas in Myanmar. Cycle back to Mandalay and visit the sacred Mahamuni Pagoda, the unique Shwenandaw Monastery and the largest book in the world, the Kuthodaw Pagoda. The Kuthodaw Pagoda is surrounded by 729 stone slabs in which Buddhist scriptures were engraved. Read more

The beauty of Inle Lake

In the early morning, transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Heho (Inle Lake) Upon arrival, your sightseeing tour starts. Today you will explore the magical Inle Lake by long-tail boat. The boat trip will take you to the agricultural village of Thale Oo. Also, you will visit a lotus silk-weaving factory and see how traditional Burmese cigars are made. In the afternoon, continue the sightseeing tour to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most sacred pagoda around the lake. It houses five ancient images of Buddha that are completely covered in gold leaf.
