Enjoy your well earned and prepared lunch, Walk off all the food you have been enjoying during this trip by a half day visit of the City of Rabat with the help of your local guide, The Visit will start at Chellah or Sala Colonia which is a necropolis and complex of ancient Roman Mauritania Tingitana and medieval ruins at the outskirts of Rabat; it is the most ancient human settlement on the mouth of the Bourgreg river. Nest you have the chance to see the Hassan Tower which is a minaret of an incomplete mosque, this tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the worlf along with its mosque but the work stopped just after the death of Yaakub Mansour. Afterbreakfast at your hotel say good bye to Rabat , and head north to tangier , upon arrival meet your guide and start your half day city tour of Tangier, a panromaic tour of the city ‘s surrondng such as Spartel Cape at the extreme northwest of Africa and the Hercules Caves, linked with Hercules, the man who separated Africa from Europe. From here, you will get an exceptional view of the Straits of Gibralatar and the Atlantic Ocean as well. This half day visit will also lead you to the old medina wih its craftsmanship shops and a magnificent minaret overlooking the sea. Upon arrival, your driver will take you to explore on your own the hidden historical gems of el Jadida ; When Portuguse were forced to depart, they destroyed the Governor’s Bastion and evacuated to the Portuguese colony of Brazil, where they founded a new settlement called Nova Mazagão. El Jadida was then taken over by Sultan Mohammed Ben Abdallah in 1769 and remained uninhabited, having been dubbed al-Mahdouma (The Ruined). Eventually, Sultan Abd al-Rahman of Morocco ordered that a mosque be built and the destroyed portions of the city rebuilt. The reinvigorated city was renamed El-Jadida, or The Newest.
