ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrival to Paro and tour
On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and driver. Then explore Paro spiritual site(If your flight is late, then this tour will be shifted to the last day before departure). Visit Paro Kichu Lhakhang(temple). This temple is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, originally built in the 7th century by the Tibetan Emperor Songtsen Gampo. It is considered to be one of the 108 border taming temples he built. Next visit to Paro Rinpung Dzong, where the head of the administration of Paro is here. All the major festivals and events will be held here. Next visit Ta Dzong. Ta Dzong was built as a watchtower but now it is a national museum containing the finest specimen of arts, statues, paintings, etc The final visit to you will visit the amazing temple of Guru Rinpoche called Dra Karpo which is at the steep slope and attached to the cliff. DAY 2
Hiking to Tiger’s Nest(Taktshang)
Hike to Taktsang Palphug Monastery( Paro Taktsang). It is a Buddhist temple that amazingly clings to a cliff, 3120 meters above the sea level. The photos of this temple are being used to talk and represent Bhutan. The hike will take around 2 – 3 hours based on your pace and same hours to return to the base. When you arrive at halfway, you will be presented with a spectacular temple attached to the cliff. The location will definitely amaze you before you arrive at the temple and after you arrive, you will be fascinated by a waterfall and then unique architecture. Moreover, there are some caves with a story that your guide will explain it. The hike will be through the trail passing through pine trees and view of beautiful Paro valley. The slope is quite steep but you will have your time as a guide will lead you following your pace. As an option, there will be also horses at the starting point. The fees are payable at the spot and not recommended during rainy days. Lunch will be served when you return to the road. After lunch, you will head to Thimphu. On the way, you will stop at Iron Bridge and also Tachog Lhakhang. Continue to Thimphu and check-in at your hotel. Refresh and towards evening, visit Buddha Point to see a breathtaking view of the capital city and also the Buddha. This Buddha Dordenma – is 51.5-meter bronze Shakyamuni Buddha statue gilded in gold. There is also a chance to walk around and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Thimphu valley. DAY 3
Discover Capital of Bhutan
Drive to a Dochula which is probably a most scenic location, the pass offers a stunning panoramic view of the Himalayan Mountain range. Take time to walk around and see beautiful stupa, scenes, and flora on this mountain. Back to Thimphu and stop at the National Library, safeguarding a vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts and manuscripts. There is also a famous painting institute called Zorig Chusum which you will visit to see several paintings and then visit the Traditional Medicine Institute. After lunch, proceed to Tashichho Dzong, King’s Throne room and most important government offices. It is also summer residence for the Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot. Towards evening, visit Memorial Chorten(stupa). This stupa was built in 1974 in memory of our Third King by his mother. Departure
Based on the departure flight timing, private transfer to the airport for your departure. If the flight is in the evening, you will visit Zoo where you will see the national animal of Bhutan and other animals.

- There shall be no charge other than visa fee of USD 40 for children below the age of 5 years.
- Children between the ages of 5-12 years shall be given 50% discount on minimum daily package rate.
- Full time students below the age of 25 years, holding valid identity cards from their academic institutions, shall be given 25% discount on minimum daily package rate.
- A GROUP SIZE DISCOUNT of 50% on minimum daily package shall be given to one person in a group of 11 people. 100% discount shall be given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons.
- A 50% DURATION DISCOUNT on SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FEE shall be provided after the 8th night and 100% discount on SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FEE shall be provided after 14th night.
- 100% SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FEE FREE ZONE DISCOUNT shall be provided on SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FEE on first and/or last night for groups with night halt in Phuntsholing, Sarpang and Samdrup Jongkhar on arrival and/or departure
