Join us for a fun and educational journey to Taman Negara, a vast national park in Malaysia on the Malay peninsula. It encompasses a sprawling tropical rainforest that's said to be 130 million years old. Kuala Tahan, the main entry point, is a base for the nearby canopy walkway, river trips and treks through the jungle to the top of Mt. Tahan. The park is home to tigers, macaques and birdlife, as well as the enormous flowers, the Rafflesia plant.

Crossing to Taman Negara by boat (less than 5 minutes). Proceed to Department of Wildlife to register and to obtain necessary permit and licenses. 0730 hrs - Breakfast at Seri Mutiara Restaurant 0930 hrs - Commence your exciting journey with a visit to the "Canopy Walk". Walk along 500 meters of walkway strung up 30 meters above ground level. The view from here is a sight for weary eyes. Continue the trip with a trek to Teresek Hill. 1300 hrs - Lunch at Seri Mutiara Restaurant 1430 hrs -Take a boat trip to the beautiful cascading waterfalls of Lata Berkoh. On return, drop by at the Orang Asli Settlement to see how the aborigines live in a totally different way from us.
