Breakfast in the hotel.
Today, you will have free time to explore Aarhus until lunch. The city was established at the end of the 8th century by the Vikings. Today, this is a major business and cultural center, Denmark’s second-largest city.
City-museum Den Gamle By (The Old City), which represents
a small town full of old-time edifices, is regarded as one of the most extraordinary places. Those buildings were brought to Aarhus from all corners of Denmark. On the streets of that town, you will have a chance to see “local inhabitants,” dressed in vintage clothes – they are the museum’s workers, who welcome the guests every day.
We also recommend you to visit the Viking Ships Museum.
After lunch, we will head to the port city of Hirtshals, where we can board a cruise ship and set out to Norway.
Fjord Line is a Norwegian ferry operator offering service between Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The cruise ships feature restaurants, cafés, as well as duty-free shops, which every passenger may use at will.
