Arrival at QAIA –Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.

DAY 2
Amman- Ajloun – Jarash –Amman O/N
After breakfast at 8:15 transfer to visit the Saracen castle at Ajloun. This 12th Century castle was built by Saladin in his successful campaign to drive the Crusaders from Jordan in 1189 and is an outstanding example of Arab/Islamic military architecture. @13:00 lunch at airtimes restaurant (optional Lunch 10JD) at 14:00 Continue to visit Jerash (Gerasa of antiquity), the best preserved city of Roman times, to visit its theatres, temples, churches and colonnaded streets. DAY 3
Amman-Madaba-Mt. Nebo-Bethany-Amman O/N
After breakfast at 08:00 Depart Amman to visit the mosaic city of, Madaba, known as the City of Mosaics. Here you will visit the oldest map of the Holy Land on the floor of Saint George’s Church. Madaba, or Medeba in antiquity, features many famous mosaics that exist in public and private buildings. @11:00 am a short drive will bring you to Mt. Nebo, the alleged burial site of Moses overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. From this mountain top Mosaic had his first glimpse of the Holy Land, a land he was never allowed to enter. Here Franciscans have built a structure that protects a 4th and 6th Century Byzantine church. To visit la storia museum @13:30 pm stop for lunch at Bethany restaurant (optional Lunch 10JD) @14:15 departures to visit baptism on the banks of the River Jordan, in what is now the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is the exact spot where John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ, the son of God and where Christianity began. The site is located close to the spot where Elijah ascended into heaven on the back of a fiery chariot surrounded by Angles thousands of years before. Amman hotel –dead sea O/N
After breakfast, @08:30 am depart to Dead Sea– is a salt lake whose banks are more than 400m below sea level, the lowest point on dry land. Its famously hyper saline water makes floating easy, and its mineral-rich black mud is used for therapeutic and cosmetic treatments at area resorts.
