Continue discovering the wonderful world of cocoa. In the morning you will visit Chazuta, known as 'the chocolate jungle', to see the origin of the cocoa beans. Those who live in this place have a strong cultural identity and a history that can be seen in the pieces of pottery preserved in the museum and workshop of Wasichay. There, local artisans continue to work with the same ancestral technique. Return to your hotel and, after lunch, you will participate in another activity to learn about another important crop in the area: the coca leaf. Coffee is another of Tarapoto's most popular products, and you'll see it in the town of Mushuk Lamas. To get there, you will undertake a hike along the slopes next to the Huallaga River, a unique journey through nature. Enjoy your last day in the jungle going to the waterfalls of Pucayaquillo. Cross a 1.8-kilometer trail while crossing a wide variety of plants, trees and animals from the area such as frogs and Isulas ants, known for their large size. Upon arrival, rest at the foot of the waterfall or cool off in its crystal clear waters. On the way back, a vehicle will wait for you to take you to the city's airport and board your flight to Lima.
