AM - Pick-up from Baltra Island Airport and transfer to Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island) for lunch. At 2:00pm (subject to changetravel to Isabela Island via public speedboat (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours). PM - At Puerto Villamil check-in at the hotel and visit the Flamingos Lagoon. AM - Early in the morning, head for a hike for 4 hours hike to Sierra Negra Volcano, the world’s second largest volcanic crater, measuring 6 miles in diameter and 300 feet deep. Hike towards the crater and enjoy the view. Continue to Volcan Chico, a still active volcano which warms the surrounding grounds. (Box lunch provided). PM - Spend the afternoon snorkeling in Concha Perla with sea lions, colorful varieties of fish, and sea turtles (snorkeling equipment included: tube, mask, fins). Read more
AM - Visit Tintores Islet, named after the white-tip sharks known as “tintoreras” which come to rest in its clear waters. Get close to endemic wildlife such as penguins and sea lions. Snorkeling is great in this spot, swim next to colorful fish, sharks and rays. PM - In the afternoon visit Humedales Complex which includes an exhaustive visit to The Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, famous “Muro de las Lágrimas”, “Mirador Orchidia” viewpoint and “El Estero de Isabela”. AM - Early in the morning (6am), take the public speedboat from Isabela to Puerto Ayora, where the guide will be waiting. Check in at the hotel and immediately begin the visit to the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Enjoy a visit to see giant tortoises in their natural habitat. PM - Return to Puerto Ayora and in the afternoon head to the Ch. Darwin Research Station and observe colorful land iguanas and a large variety of Galápagos Giant tortoises brought from the most important islands in the archipelago. Read more
Transfer to Baltra Airport. On the way out, stop by “The Twins” a.k.a. “The Gemelos”. Tour ends upon the arrival to the airport to catch plane to either Quito or Guayaquil.

Snorkeling with sea lions and penguins was a life time experience! Our favorite animal, however, is blue feet booies. They are so cute and funny looking!
