Arriving at Phu Bai airport in Hue, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. You’ll spend the night in Hue.
The time to visit Perfume River, Thien Mu Pagoda and the majestic Emperor Tombs from the Old Hue Kings: Minh Mang, Khai Dinh. In the morning, your bicycles will be at your hotel ready for you to ride through Hue’s rural villages. You’ll visit a local market which will provide you with views of daily life and local products. You’ll then enjoy the Hue’s culture and history into the unique garden house. Later, you’ll enjoy the various local culinary which only found out in this city. As this excursion covers a large area of the wartime ‘De-militarised Zone’, better known as the DMZ, our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel at seven o’clock to drive north to Quang Tri province. Your visit will include the battle sites of Khe Sanh Base, Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, as well as the Old Citadel of Quang Tri and the Vinh Moc Tunnels (these are more authentic and easier to enter than those in Cu Chi. Leave the Old city behind you’ll pass by the Hai Van Pass to view the excellent sightseeing of the Lang Co Beach and the Tam Giang Lagoon. You’ll have a short visit of the modern Danang coastal city just before arrive in the Hoi An Ancient Town – another World Heritage Sites which was used to be a trading port, once a largest in the Indochina. "O, where art thou?". At first glance, The World Heritage My Son Sanctuary looks like a mini Angkor Complex, however, this holy place still has its feature character. You will see the remains of the remarkable brick tower, being explained about their origins and listen to many interesting stories.
The day will be free for strolling in the town and do whatever you prefer.
After breakfast, your time is your own until your car arrives to take you to Danang airport for your international departure flight. Tour ends!
In June 2015 I traveled to Vietnam with a group planning to visit Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. We wanted as many varied experiences as possible - and Mr. Vinh happily obliged. He arranged everything for us and the trip was perfect! We spent several days in Hanoi in nice, but affordable accommodations and were able to explore the city and local environment. We traveled to the Mekong Delta and had a wonderful experience meeting local people and traveling by bicycle and motorbike as well as by boat. We spent 2 days and a night on a junk on Halong Bay with kayaking and swimming as our main activities. Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City afforded even more adventures. Through it all, Mr. Vinh was available to us and had set an itinerary that allowed us to experience Vietnam in a way most travelers probably don’t.
