Arriving at the airport, we will pick you up by airport taxi to Kumai. From Kumai River, we will cross to Sekonyer River for about 15 minutes by boat called klotok. It is the beginning of our tour to Tanjung Puting National Park. Lunch will be served on the boat prepared by our cook with many variations food. Along the way upstream, you will see the different trees vegetation. Moreover, in the afternoon, it’s the right time to see proboscis monkeys (long nose monkey), macaques, and kind of birds. After morning breakfast on the boat, we go to Camp Leakey directly. Along this way, we can see proboscis monkeys (long nose monkey), macaques, fishes, crocodiles, and kind of birds. Arriving at Camp Leakey, we will have hiking to jungle heterogenic forest directly. Here is the orangutan’s research place by Orangutan Foundation International (OFI). After hiking, we go to the information centre, still in the Camp Leakey area. Then we back to the boat to have lunch and take a rest. After lunch, we back to Camp Leakey again for seeing orangutan feeding at 2 p.m to 4 p.m, then back to the boat for take shower. Boating down for about 2km, stop for having dinner and stay overnight. After morning breakfast on the boat, we go down to Pondok Tanggui to see orangutan feeding again at 9 a.m. Back to the boat, boating down to reforestation project. There are many kinds of traditional medicine plantation and seedling. In the wet season, the visitors can adopt the seed to be planted in this place. Back to the boat to have lunch and take a rest. Then we continue our trip to village. Across from the village, there is first station called Tanjung Harapan. Here we can see orangutan feeding at 3 p.m. Back to the boat, boating down the river and back to Kumai. Transfer to Hotel in Pangkalan Bun by taxi. Overnight at Hotel. Early morning breakfast at Hotel, then pick-up transfer by our guide at 06.30 am. Transfer to airport to catch flight at 08.10 am by Kal-Star. Arrive on schedule at 10.35 am Banjarmasin Airport. Meet and great with our guide and directly transfer to Nagara village for observing traditional machete making, metal ware, and pottery home industries and then cruising the Nagara River to Pandak Daun village for watching water buffaloes return to the stall while enjoying sunset on the swamp area. After breakfast at lodge, we will have a soft trekking to Dayak village for exploring the longhouse, rainforest, and the waterfall nearby the village. Afterwards, we will take an adventure trip of bamboo rafting across beautiful landscape of tropical rainforest along the Amandit riverside meanwhile our coach will be waiting on the downstream for transferring to Banjarmasin for overnight on hotel. Early morning will leave to floating market to watch people trading boat to boat, while sightseeing people unique activities on riverside. Return to Hotel for late breakfast. Direct transfer to Airport for your flight by Garuda at 13.00 to Balikpapan Arrive at Balikpapan Airport, meet and great with our guide. Direct transfer to Samboja Lodge for about one and half hour. Breakfast at Lodge, join with the Samboja Lodge team to do the Nature Trails. Walk through the forest for about 2 hours. Return to the lodge for having lunch and take a rest. Seeing the afternoon feeding time at Orangutan island and Sunbear sanctuary.
Breakfast at Lodge, pick-up service at 10.00 am. Direct transfer to Loa Janan for onboard the houseboat for exciting Mahakam River.
Early morning arrive in MUARA MUNTAI. Transfer by motorized canoe to cross the vast Jempang Lake and small river on the way to MANCONG (will combine with land transport via TANJUNG ISUY, if the water level not permitted). Upon arrival experience the welcome ceremony, visit the grand traditional Long House of BENUAQ DAYAK’s Tribe. Afterwards return to MUARA MUNTAI and downstream to LEKAQ KIDAU. Read more
Morning arrival at LEKAQ KIDAU a Kenyah dayak tribe village, after short walking on the village will continue downstream to TENGGARONG. Direct transfer by car to Balikpapan. Check in at Balikpapan Hotel and take a rest. Pick-up service for dinner at Local Indonesian restaurant.
Breakfast at Hotel, pick-up service at 07.30 am for transferring to airport. Fly from Balikpapan by Garuda at 09.10 am. Arrive at 10.05 in Kalimarau Airport, Berau. Pick-up service and transfer to jetty and direct to island by boat

I just wanted to say thank you for the great tour that you organized recently for my 4 friends from Australia to see the orangutans in Kalimantan. They had a fantastic time. Their guide, boat crew, and boat were all excellent. I’m looking forward to being able to do the trip myself in the future.
We wanted to thank you for the great trip we had. Jumri, Firman and Mr. Udin made our trip more than worthwhile. They were very helpful in every kind of way. We had lots of fun. The forest where we went was so beautiful and the lodge also. After the trip to the destination, a meal was prepared by Mr. Udins wife who is a great cook! Even with our special diet, she surprised us with every meal! Of course seeing the orangutan in the wild is only to dream about but the whole stay made it so special. The lodge, the crew, the sounds, the animals, the super nice lunch we had on the way back and the interesting conversations we had. Every track we made was one to remember. We could do nothing than to recommend this trip to everyone interested in seeing the forest with all his animals and flora living there.
