Tembo Natron Safari

This tour will focus on the Ngorongoro crater, however, you will get a chance to see the beauty of the Lake Manyara, and the wild Tarangire national Park. The depth of the historical Ngorongoro Crater, highlighting the beauty of its flora and fauna, and the indigenous wildlife that call the crater home. Expect to see Rhino and Buffaloes in the Crater, elegant Giraffes and Pink Flamingos at Lake Manyara amongst other wild animals like Zebras, Gazelles, Cheetahs, and most sought after Lions in the hunt. This trip will keep you excited everyday as you take in the culture of the Maasai and locals living nearby these parks, without forgetting the beautiful green scenery that seems endless. If not the predators hunting or resting and playing with their young ones, then you will enjoy seeing the playful Monkeys or Baboons jumping from tree to tree, crossing paths with Elephants on the unpaved roads. True African adventure awaits your arrival.

Upon your arrival. you will be picked up from the airport, meet your driver and drive to your lodge in Arusha town, about one hour drive. Overnight and prepare for the next day safari.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive.On this game drive you will spot swamps all around with a few green vegetation year round, which provide home to over 500 bird varieties. You will also spot baboons and other general game on their way to these water holes scattered all over the park.All these animals are endemic to the dry Savannah of north-central Tanzania.We do stop for picnic lunch. Drive to Lake Eyasi via Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch break. Spotting hippos at the "Hippo pool", baboons,monkeys, more elephants, gazelles, and a thick green vegetation and flamingos at the lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge/Camp

HADZABE BUSHMEN HUNT

Today we wake up very early around 5am in the morning and go for an adventure with the hunting men of the Hadzabe, one of the earliest and still unchanged and untouched traditional tribes. They are one of the worlds last group of hunter and gatherers. It will be an amazing experience that you will not forget easily, a story to tell others. We do afternoon lunch, then continue our trip towards Ngorongoro for overnight and dinner. Ready for the next morning safari down the crater. Read more

After breakfast, we drive to Ngare Sero waterfalls, passing by the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai for a relaxing scenic game drive with a picnic lunch break. This area has magnificent geological phenomenas that could explain how the craters were formed. You will see the local Maasai living amidst the vast area with their livestock, right amongst the wildlife. Dont be surprised to see Zebras and Cows grazing together in harmony. Had a great time! Tony was extremely helpful and accommodating in getting the logistical side of the safari lined up before we went and addressed all of our questions / concerns. The safari itself was an amazing time. We got to see all the animals that we could have hoped to see (lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeest, hyenas, buffalo, hippos and even a rhino!) and the experience sleeping under the stars was great. Our guide Isaac and our chef who accompanied us on the safari were excellent. Very down to earth people making the safari that much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend going with Taylor Safaris on your next safari as everyone involved works very hard to make sure you have a memorable experience. Read more
