As many of Bangkok’s canals have now been filled in we travel out into the suburbs to visit the floating market at Damnoen Saduak. Here we board a small rowing boat and make our way through the crowded waterways as vendors sell their produce from boats, with everything ranging from tourist handicrafts to fresh fruits and hot food. We then continue to the Sampran Riverside (Ex. Rose Garden), a delightful riverside setting where we enjoy a tasty lunch and are entertained by a traditional Thai cultural performance.
