Upon arrival in Port Moresby, you will be met and greeted by Trans Niugini Tours staff and transferred to your ongoing Air Niugini flight to Madang. Upon arrival at Madang Airport you will be met and transferred to the Malolo Plantation Lodge.
After breakfast you proceed on a half-day tour of a nature walk and snorkeling at Tadwai Island and then reposition back to the Lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
This morning enjoy a full day tour of Madang and surrounds. Leaving Malolo Plantation Lodge-the drive takes us past villages, copra and cocoa plantations before arriving at Siar Village, an example of a "modern day" village. From Siar, pass roadside markets then visit the main town market, Coast watchers Memorial Lighthouse, the small Madang Cultural Museum, and drive along the waterfront harbour. Depart town for a 45 minute drive south to Balek Nature Sanctuary. After a picnic lunch in the grounds, explore the Sanctuary, which has a collection of exotic plants and orchids, hot sulphur springs, eels and tortoises can also be found here. Depart for Bilbil village where you will have a chance to view a demonstration of clay pot making. After the tour is done you will be transferred back to the Lodge. Read more

Today you will be transferred to Madang airport for your flight PX111 to Port Moresby. Upon arrival you will be assisted to your ongoing flight PX186 to Mt. Hagen. Upon arrival at Mount Hagen airport you will be met by our staff and transferred to Rondon Ridge. Mount Hagen town is in the upper Wahgi Valley - a valley with some of the oldest evidence of agriculture in the world. Read more
Two full days are spent exploring the Hagen area and Wahgi Valley. The Mount Hagen area is the home of the Melpa people, a people with a strong culture, who are in the face of modernity, still live largely traditional subsistence lifestyles.
