ITINERARY
DAY 1
IN CUIABA / POUSADA PIUVAL
Welcome in Cuiaba and transfer to Pousada Piuval, accommodation and overnight at the pousada.
POUSADA PIUVAL
DAY 2
POUSADA PIUVAL / PORTO JOFFRE
Go for an early light trekking in the surroundings of the pousada, then after breakfast go for a horseback ride in the countryside with the local cowboys (pantaneiros) to observe the fauna. After lunch drive down to Porto Joffre (3hrs), accommodation and overnight in the hotel.

DAY 3
JAGUAR SAFARI
Awake at 6 am, breakfast, then departure by boat up the Rio Cuiaba then the Tres Irmãos, Saint-Laurent, Rio Negro and Piquiri rivers, where there’s a great chance to see some jaguars. A snack on the way (sandwiches, fruit, juices, water & fizzy drinks). Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner and night at the hotel Porto Jofre. DAY 4
JAGUAR SAFARI
A whole day safari on a private boat (8hrs) cruising on the river to look for the jaguar, lunch can be a picnic on board or you can go back to the hotel.

This is your last day of Jaguar Safari, by that time you might have already seen a few of them but this last day could be the most exciting !
