An exciting experience that will bring you close to nature, camping out and discovering the wild landscape of the longest Mountain range in South America. Spend your days trekking accross the Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes Mountains. Follow the trail that will take you to the magnificent South Wall of the Aconcagua with its imposing hight of 3000 meters.
Meet and greet at Mendoza airport and transfer to selected hotel. Overnight in Mendoza with breakfast.
Meet your guide and take your transfer from Mendoza to Horcones (2950 m). Arrive at the Aconcagua Provincial Park. Your trekking experience begins here! Confluencia campsite (3390 m). Accommodation in tents. Trekking duration: 3/4 hs.
After a healthy breakfast begin your trek towards Plaza Francia and enjoy the imposing views of the Southern Wall of the Aconcagua (4000 m). After a very welcome box lunch, return to Confluencia. Camping overnight. Trekking duration: 6/7 hs.
Begin your early morning trek towards Plaza de Mulas, crossing lowlands, Playa Ancha and Cuesta Brava, towards the Horcones Superior River. Arriva at Plaza de Mulas campsite (4350 m) at the foot of “The Giant of America” (Mount Aconcagua 6959m). Camping overnight. Trekking duration: 7/10 hs.
Rest day at Plaza de Mulas for acclimatization and adaptation to altitude. Camping overnight.
Trek to Cerro Bonete and from it´s summit appreciate the striking view of the Western Wall of Aconcagua and the Central Andes Mountains. Camping overnight. Trekking duration: 5/6 hs.
Trek down the Quebrada de Horcones to the entrance of the Aconcagua Park. Check-out at the Horcones Ranger park station. Enjoy a complete Argentine barbecue in Uspallata and then transer to selected hotel in Mendoza. Overnight Mendoza with breakfast. Trekking duration: 6/7 hs.
At scheduled time, transfer from your hotel to Mendoza airport.
