Arrival to Tangier

Upon arrival to Tangier city you will be met and greeted by your local driver. Then, you will start panoramic tour of the city before transferring to your hotel to check-in and rest.

After breakfast, meet your local guide in the lobby of your hotel in order to start your guided tour of Tangier city, dubbed “The Bride of The north”. Tangier is an international post and a melting pot, here the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean sea, Africa meets Europe, Morocco meet Spain, Andalusia meets us. If you take a quick look at Tangier on the map you will find out that it is located on the northern region few miles from Spain, it is on the Maghreb coast at the western entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. Your guided visit will take you along the beach and continue to what the city is famed for like: including the Kasbah, the tomb of Ibn Battouta- a 14th century famous traveler who was born in Tangier, Teatro Cervantes, the Grand Socco. The American Legation*, the Tangier American Legation Museum with its Paul Bowles Wing dedicated to the writer and composer who lived most of his adult life in Tangier, and the Kasbah Museum, the former Sultan's palace deserves to be seen not only for its collection of artifacts from the Phoenician to modern times, but also for the building and garden. Tangier - Assilah - Tetouan

After breakfast, we will be taking the coastal road to make a stop first at Assilah. This city had a long history for being a Spanish and Portuguese territory for a long time. Nowadays however, it is Known for being the city of art as each year artist all over make Pilgrimage to it and paint the walls of the city in all colors and stories. Visit the Medina, a fortified city with big old walls and narrow inner streets. Visit also the Borj. After lunch, we will continue to Tetouan, the most Andalusia city in the kingdom. All the neighborhoods of the city belong to three different architectural styles: The Andalusia style (Medina), the Spanish style of the early and mid-twentieth century (Ensanche) and the after independence style (peripheral neighborhoods). Each style includes variations more or less important in relation to the evolution of styles and materials. While there we will visit Archaeological museum of Tetouan which exhibits a wide range of cultural and historical materials. It displays mosaics of Roman times telling the mythical story of Mars and Rhea Sylvia, as well as prehistorical tools and objects from the Acheulean, Mousterian, Azeri, Iberomusian and Neolithic. Tetouan - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, travel to Chefchaouen, once arrived, start your tour by visiting the Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid, Plaza Uta el-Hammam then continue for a wonderful tour of this beautiful city. Chefchaouen is Morocco’s “Blue Pearl”. It has come to be known as such due to a distinctive blue color all the inhabitant use to paint their houses .This tradition trace back to the Jewish traditions and beliefs that the color blue represents the sky which in turn reminds people of heaven and God. Chefchaouen - Meknes - Volubilis - Fez

After breakfast meet you driver to travel to Fez. En route, we will be making a MUST stop by Volubilis and Meknes. The archeological site of Volubilis is listed by the UNESCO as a worldwide heritage, and it is a witness of multi-cultural Morocco. A specialized guide will walk you around the remains of the Roman outpost, through the arcs of Triumphal arches, the Capitoline Temple and large captivating Orpheus mosaics which tells tales of roman life. Afterwards, the trip will continue to the Imperial City of Meknes, one of Morocco’s lesser-visited. It was built by Moulay Ismail and was conceived to be the ‘Versailles of Morocco’, you’ll be able to visit the famous gate of Bab El Mansour, and Lhri. After breakfast, start your guided city tour of Fez, once the capital of the kingdom before 1912. Your visit today will revolve around exploring Fez the Medina which is a World Heritage Site, according to the UNESCO, and it was founded in the 9th century and it is home to the world's oldest university. Your local guide will show you around the major sites like Bou-Inania and Attarin, Medersa, the tanners, Ess- Seffarine Square, Moulay Driss tomb, El-Nejjarine square, and the cabinet makers’ souk, the Hebrew district ‘Mellah’. After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Rabat and join upon arrival your tour guide for visit of the capital city of Morocco. Rabat was founded by Abd Al-Mu’min, a ruler of the Almohad dynasty for military reasons. It was built to serve as a fortress, hence its original name Ribatu al-Fath, meaning "stronghold of victory". Our guided tour in Rabat will then revolve around uncovering the history of Rabat. The tour includes a visit to the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and Kasbah Ouddaya. Rabat - Casablanca

After breakfast, head to Casablanca where your local guide will be waiting for you to start your tour of Casablanca. The tour will start at Hassan II Mosque, an architectural master piece. Afterwards, we will be visiting the only Jewish museum in an Arab county (optional) - it traces the long history of Judaism in Morocco and its influence, continue with your local guide to the Souks (the market place) to end the tour of Casablanca in the Hobus quarter and don’t forget to enjoy Casablanca’s Art deco before heading to the hotel to rest. * Optional : the Jewish Museum The more you know: Casablanca, in Arabic Dar el-Baida, translates to: the white house (not to be confused with American one!).
