edible fruits have been identified including rare and exotic ones to suit even the fussiest eater. Stop at the Tropical Fruit Farm which was built to preserve our green heritage. At the farm, there are more than 250 types of tropical and sub-tropical fruits. Not only are they delectable, they are also rich in natural vitamins, minerals and fibres too. Over the years, the orchard has acquired many rare and exotic fruit trees from the region as well as from far-flung corners of the globe such as Central and South America, Central Africa, India, the Middle East, the Caribbean and the Pacific Islands. After the tour, sample the fruits in season and the freshly blended fruits juice made from the farm's produce.
Head to the Tropical Spice Garden, the one and only award-winning spice garden in Asia. The garden was once an abandoned rubber plantation along Penang’s northern shores. The garden is a unique eco-sanctuary that spans across 8 acres of secondary jungle in Teluk Bahang, Penang. With a wide array of living specimens of flora and fauna, this garden provides an exceptional experience to the visitors who are nature lovers. The six landscaped acres of the garden is a treasure trove of more than 500 living specimens of lush and exotic flora from around the world. The whole area is implemented environmentally-conscious modes of building, using mainly recycled materials found around the community.
