Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, you are greeted by the driver, holding your name on a signboard and taken to your hotel. Depending on your flight arrival and after a few hours rest, at the agreed time your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel, ready to take you on a tour of Zagreb city center. The rest of the day is at your leisure, to relax or individually explore the city. Zagreb, the capital of the Republic of Croatia, is a global and cosmopolitan city. In the morning take advanced and enjoy morning coffee in the sun in one of our central parks. Enjoy the late morning stroll and pastry & coffee stop in the small town of Samobor. Samobor is a small town in the north of Croatia, 20 km from Zagreb. It is located on the slopes of the Samobor Mountains, at the entrance to the romantic valley of Gradna stream. This is the medieval town of Baroque architecture, kind people and a famous pastry called kremšnite. After pick up from your accommodation or hotel, you will drive to the well-known Plesivica wine road (about an hour from Zagreb). Here you will get to visit two local vineyards where the winemakers will personally present the wine tastings to you. You will sample 3-4 wines at each winery followed by an olive and cheese snack platter. Optional stop at a restaurant can be organized depending on the time of departure from your hotel. After breakfast meets your driver in the hotel for a private transfer to National Park Plitvice Lakes. Plitvice Lakes, a natural phenomenon and a jewel of inestimable value, is the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. The waters flowing over the limestone and chalk have, over thousands of years, deposited travertine barriers, creating natural dams which in turn have created a series of beautiful lakes, caves, and waterfalls. These geological processes continue today. The forests in the park are home to bears, wolves and many rare bird species. There are 16 large and a lot of small lakes which are connected by small, medium and large waterfalls.
