Meeting at the reception of your hotel in Nosy Be. Briefing and transfer to Hellville harbor. Boarding on a private speedboat at Hellville port for a transfer to Ankify. Transfer from Ankify to Antsaravibe (125 km of damaged road and 17km track). Arrival at the camp, installation. Lunch at the camp's restaurant. Ride on the river with a secure dugout built by the hotel to discover the massive Tsingy facing to the camp. Enjoy the river banks of the Mahavavy rich in flora and fauna: different species of birds such as cattle egrets, kingfishers and drongos who are still regarded as the King of birds, various colorful and shimmering butterflies. A proper place for the image hunters: From the lake, enjoy the sunset with changing colors of the massif through the full range of colors of the rainbow. Departure toward the south, we take the N6 of 121 km, which winds along the paddy fields and plantations to the village Mahamasina front door of Ankarana reserve. Excursion "The Ankarana East National Park" The massif of Ankarana is known for its attractive limestone peaks locally called Tsingy, that extend over 20km on the west coast. Ankarana is refuge of 13 species of bats, 10 species of Lemurs and 92 species of birds. Some endemic fauna species can be discovered in this reserve, like the ‘Fosa’, the unique lemurs predator. This animal belongs to the family of Felidae. Ankarana preserves a dense, tropical deciduous forest, spiny forests, baobabs, tall trees. The path changes according to the weather and your physical conditions, from 2.5 to 4 hours visit with several circuits that you can choose in agreement with your guide : La Perte de rivière, the Turret of Tsingy, Tsingy Rary, the suspended bridge and the bats' cave.
