Wander along the Colonnaded Way, climb up the steps of the Temple of Artemis or listen to the traditional bagpipers in the Theatre. There is a restaurant where you can have lunch. You have the day to explore the beautiful site of Petra. Walk through the Siq and see the famous Treasury. Then visit the Street of Facades and perhaps climb up to the High Place of Sacrifice. Today a local Bedouin guide will pick you up with a 4WD from the hotel. You will go to the starting point of a beautiful trail that brings you via a scenic route and via yet another entrance to the monastery. In the afternoon, your driver transfer you to Wadi Rum, where you will spend the night under the stars in the desert. Today, you have a free day to spend in Aqaba. Relax by the beach, g swimming or snorkeling. Or head to Tala Bay to enjoy the private beaches. I just wanted to share how amazing my time was with Sandra and her horses in Wadi Musa. I arrived in April, with the heavy weight of burdens and in need of some gentle time in the desert. Gamar, Sandra’s first horse, came out and we did some exercise in the yard. Not yet used to me she took her time to come closer. And then she came to me and embraced me, so intently and intimately, like she realized I needed some support and in recognition of what I was going through. And that was day one.
