This is a program that unveils a Mediterranean Murcia, where the mixture of good weather, good food, excellent wines, its people, make this region a true experience. We will visit the Baroque Murcia, Roman Cartagena, Calasparra and its rice fields, in Jumilla the Wines, Caravaca de la Cruz Holy City and in Lorca and its castle and crafts.

After breakfast, we cross the beautiful monuments of this baroque city par excellence with local guide. Its squares and gardens, its Cathedral, Gothic in structure and with an impressive Baroque facade; The Santa Clara Museum, former summer residence of Arab emirs; The Salzillo Museum with a Bethlehem of 556 figures, the Cultural Casino, a nineteenth century building with impressive halls such as the Ballroom, Billiards and the Ladies' Room. After breakfast, we are heading to Cartagena with a local guide. An important colony of Ancient Rome, Cartagena preserves an impressive archaeological and artistic heritage that we can admire through its port, castles or watchtowers, the Roman Theater or the Punic Wall, all without forgetting the beauty of modernism that decorates the most sumptuous houses and palaces of the city. Lunch. Then transfer to Lorca, monumental city of stately buildings and churches that were affected in 2011 by a major earthquake. Because of this, today and during the visit we will witness the recovery of its rich heritage in places such as the Excolegiate of Saint Patrick, the Palace of Guevara or the Convent of Santo Domingo, but also others like its castle where the warden, the sorcerer and the Master stonemason will appear during our tour. After breakfast, we are heading to Caravaca de la Cruz with a local guide. We will discover why it is the fifth place of pilgrimage in the world and named by the Holy See "In perpetuum" Jubilee Year, where the plenary indulgence can be acquired. We will visit the Castle of the Basilica-Sanctuary of the Santísima and Vera Cruz, the Festival Museum with its costumes of kings, sultans and their mantles embroidered in gold and silks of the well-known Wine Horses, indisputable protagonists of one of the most emblematic festivals of the Region of Murcia. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will go to Calasparra where we can contemplate the rice paddies of the first rice with denomination of origin of the world and visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Hope. Visiting Jumilla with a local guide means entering a land of tasty wines with D.O. On this route we will know the different types of vineyards, will enjoy its caves, where we will have some wine tasting and will be taught to appreciate the quality of their wine. In addition, Jumilla has a magnificent medieval castle and the old town with the Murcian Baroque style Church of El Salvador, the Plaza de Arriba, which was the heart of Jumilla when the town was built as well as the venue of three places full of history: the ancient Posada, the Council Palace and San José Chapel, being the later worth a stroll.
