Leaving Salta city in the morning time, we go to climb up the road (The Bishop's road) to the first part of Andes mountains where we will reach the Enchanted Valley (Valle Encantado) at 3.000 mts. above sea level. We will stop de vehicle to hike for 2 hours. If the weather it's clear, may be we will see condors flying, once we back to the truck we will get the road again to do to Cachi village where we will spend the night. Another active day! after leaving Cachi village, we will start to drive on the national road 40 (the longest and mos famous road in Argentina) until get a small village named Brealito where we will leave the vehicle to start our trekking. This will be longer than the day before, we will walk for 4 hours more or less, in a very nice area with enormeous rocks and plenty of cactus to see a beautiful natural lake at 2.800 mts. above sea level. Once we finish, we will back to the truck adn we will going to the village where we will spend the night: Molinos. Read more

Leaving Molinos in the morning, we back to the gravel road visiting on the way Quebrada de Las Flechas (white rock formations) and the we will arrive in Cafayate where we can have a lunch and visit a couple of wineries on the evening time.

The first 50 kms of trip will be an incredible scenic road know like Quebrada del Rio Las Conchas with plenty of rock formations mainly with red soil, then we will get into the valley where is Salta but we will passing by heading to Jujuy province in the north, taking the famous Quebrada de Humahuaca (World Heritage by UNESCO), visiting Purmamarca villare (famous by the 7 colour hill) and finally Tilcara city where we will spend the night. In Tilcara we will visit an indian ruins (Pucará) of the primitive culture who live in this region before the Spanish colonization, then we will go up to the north to visit Humahuaca city where we can have a lunch of regional food in a local restaurant, after this, we will drive up de mountains to 4.200 mts. to visit the wonder of "El Hornocal" and the 14 colours in the mountains like you will see on the pictures. Awsome place...where we will stay one hour and we will return back to Humahuaca to continue our road to a beautiful road heading to Iruya village where we will spend the night. Read more

Day without driving! Full day hiking (6/7 hours) over the mountains and small villages in the mountains of Iruya..and we will spend the night in the same hotel

Leaving Iruya, we will drive back to the same road to connect again the main one, then we will go back until to Purmamarca village, a famous place by the 7 colour hill, where we can hike for 45 minutes around the area, and then we will climb up over the mountain road to get the region of Puna de Atacama, the high plateau..the high deserts. Then we will visit the salt flat "Salinas Grandes" at a good time for a pictures, then we will keep going to get San Antonio de Los Cobres village where we will spend the night in a hotel at 3.750 mts. above sea level. Are you ever been at 4.950 mts. above sea level, in a top of a volcano after trek only 2 hours?, Ok this will be your first time and an unforgettable experience. We will leave the hotel after breakfast, and we will get the base of the volcano with our 4x4 vehicle where we will start to trek up to the crater, and then descent to the truck in aproximately 3 hours in total, then we continue driving crossing salt flats and the red desert like a mars pictures...to finally reach Tolar Grande Village where we will spend the night. On this day we will driving over two salt flats: Arizaro, where we will see the hille "EL Cono de Arita" and Antofalla, spotping on the small village where live only 50 people: Antofalla. After have a lunch in one of the local family house, we will keep driving to the place where we will spend the night: Antofagasta de La Sierra. The highest altitude on this journey will be 4.600 mts. above sea level Read more

In the morning time...because is less windy in this region, we will make a trekking to Antofagasta volcano of 3800 mts. it will take 2 hours and a half the ascent and the descent, then we will back to the village to have a lunch and then we will go to visit the Campo de Piedra Pómez...and amazing white volcanic field at the right time for a pictures: the sunset. The gravel roads are finish, on the next days we wil drive over asphalt...we will start to descent from the Puna region to the Calchaquies Valleys, and then into the Tucumán province we will reach a beautiful valley named Tafí del Valle with a green grass landscape surrounded by nice mountains where we eill spend the night in the village.- Read more

Morning time...and depending your flight back to Buenos Aires, we can visit a cheese farm in Estancia Campo Carreras, in the another side of Tafi del Valle Lake, and then we start to descent to Tucuman city - transfer OUT to Tucumán airport
