Welcome to Costa Rica! Our local representative will take you from Juan Santamaría International Airport to the hotel in San José.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, a local representative will pick you up at the hotel and take you to enjoy a one day tour to La Fortuna, located in the north plains, home of the Arenal Volcano, a truly natural wonder and one of the most impressive volcanoes of Costa Rica. En route to the volcano you will visit the famous cradle town of artisans, Sarchí where you will have the opportunity to buy some traditional souvenir. The trip continues through areas of forest and plantations of various agricultural products until reach the beautiful town of La Fortuna, home of the Arenal Volcano. After lunch, you will visit the thermal waters of Baldi Spa, to relax and enjoy one of the best hot springs in the area. Here you can experience the rejuvenating effects of its waters as well as the exuberant vegetation that make this place an unforgettable place. Then enjoy a splendid dinner. Check out. Early in the morning a local representative will pick you up at the hotel to take you to Tortuguero (bus - boat), located on the north coast of the Caribbean. Stop en route to have breakfast in the city of Guápiles and continue by bus and then take the boat that will take you to your lodging in Tortuguero. The trip by boat is a naturalistic experience where you can appreciate the flora and fauna of the tropical jungle. Once at the lodge, enjoy the lunch around noon. Then you can enjoy a walk through the town of Tortuguero, visiting the Turtle Museum (donation $ 1). Free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. 1 night lodging in Pachira lodge o similar. Read more
Before breakfast, you can take a boat tour through the majestic canals of Tortuguero National Park to admire the abundant flora and fauna that characterizes this protected area. Return to the lodge to have breakfast. At the agreed time, check out and then take the boat and bus back to San José.
