Check out. Early in the morning a local representative will pick you up at the hotel to take you to Tortuguero (bus - boat), located on the north coast of the Caribbean. Stop en route to have breakfast in the city of Guápiles and continue by bus and then take the boat that will take you to your lodging in Tortuguero. The trip by boat is a naturalistic experience where you can appreciate the flora and fauna of the tropical jungle. Once at the lodge, enjoy the lunch around noon. Then you can enjoy a walk through the town of Tortuguero, visiting the Turtle Museum (donation $ 1). Free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. 2 nights lodging in Pachira lodge o similar. Read more
Before breakfast, you can take a boat tour through the Tortuguero canals to admire the flora and fauna. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. Rest of the day free to enjoy hotel facilities or some additional activity.
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. At the agreed time, you will take the boat and land transfer back to Guapiles where you will have lunch. Option A Shared transfers: A local representative will pick you up at the restaurant in Guapiles after lunch to continue to the La Fortuna area of San Carlos, home of the majestic Arenal Volcano. Option B Car Rental: At the agreed time, a representative of the car rental company will meet you at the restaurant in Guapiles to deliver the contract and the rental car after lunch. Drive to La Fortuna of San Carlos; take in consideration that the road trip will take around 2 and a half hours and it is convenient to arrive at the destination before nightfall. 2 nights lodging in Hotel Los Lagos or similar. Optional Excursion: This day you will have the opportunity to enjoy a tour of the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge considered one of the most spectacular sites for bird watching; it is also an excellent place to observe several species of mammals and reptiles. Early in the morning around 06:00 a.m. A local representative will take you to enjoy the Catamaran to Turtle Island in the Gulf of Nicoya, Central Pacific. A day full of sun and beach aboard a boat with music, fruits and natural drinks on board. Once on the island you will have time to relax on the beach and enjoy a delicious lunch.
