Our trip begins in the Caribbean of the country, enjoying the Caribbean area you can learn about the indigenous people of the area with their livingstyle and its culture, within the same area of the Caribbean is the Tortuguero National Park showing its flora and fauna, as a means to move We will visit Arenal and its main attraction the hot springs, when arriving to the pacific we will enjoy quiet beaches, tour that offers the area and perfect sunsets.

ITINERARY

SAN JOSÉ

Welcome to Costa Rica! Our local representative will meet you at the Juan Santamaría International Airport and transfer you to the hotel in San José. 1 night Lodging in Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar.

SAN JOSÉ - TORTUGUERO

Check Out early in the morning. Departure from San José to Tortuguero National Park located in the north Caribbean coast (transfer by land and boat in shared service). Stop for breakfast en route in the city of Guápiles and continue on the bus route to take the boat that will take you to your hotel in Tortuguero. The trip by boat is a naturalistic tour where you can appreciate the flora and fauna of the rainforest and the incredible view of the canals and lagoons. Arrive to the lodge around noon just in time for lunch. Afterwards, you can enjoy a walk through the town of Tortuguero, visiting the Turtle Museum (donation $ 1). Free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. 2 nights lodging in Pachira lodge or similar. Read more

Before breakfast, you can take a boat tour through the Tortuguero canals to admire the flora and fauna. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. Rest of the day free for some additional activity.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. At the agreed time, you will take the boat and land transfer back to Guapiles where you will have lunch. Option A Shared transfers: At the agreed time, a local representative will pick you up at the restaurant in Guapiles after lunch to continue to Puerto Viejo located in the South Caribbean. Option B Car Rental: At the agreed time, a representative of the car rental company will meet you at the restaurant in Guapiles and deliver the contract and the rental car after lunch. Drive to Puerto Viejo in the South Caribbean zone; take in consideration that the road trip will take about 3 hours and it is convenient to arrive at the destination before nightfall. 2 nights Lodging in Villas Del Caribe or similar. Breakfast at the hotel. Optional Excursion: This day you will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour through the Cahuita National Park, home to one of the most important coral reefs in Costa Rica; you can walk along its paths and your naturalist guide will help you to understand the behavior of the abundant flora and fauna.
