This trail it will take you to the destination that you will be waked up by the nature calls and in-healing natural air. Possible animals to be found in this trip are; springbok gemsbok, wildebeest, hartebeest, eland giraffe, waterbuck, lechwe, puku, giraffe, kudu, roan, sable, impala, warthog, bushbuck, monkeys and baboons, lion, leopard, hyena and jackal, hippo, crocodile ,mind-boggling, zebra, wild dog fox, elephant and buffalo.
Arrive at Maun Airport and meet your guide who will take you through orientation of the trip and then eventually transfer you on 4x4 wheel drive vehicle to the first destination of your trip. Enjoy your trip as you drive to Nxai Pan National Park, you will spend 2 nights.
The day begins with a wakeup call and then breakfast served and then head on for the game drive to experience the natural habitat, beautiful land scape and as well as the wildlife. When you come back from morning game drive lunch will be served at the camping area. You will experience an exceptionally diverse range of activities: walk and game drives. Nxai Pan is a unique attraction of Botswana, located in northern part of Makgadikgadi Park. It has a vast of wildlife species that reside in the reserve area. The grass-covered pans are scattered with acacia trees and Mopane woodland, and provide a haven for wildlife when they turn green during the rainy season. Read more
After breakfast, we then head to Central Kalahari Game Reserve for 3 nights.
Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the world’s second largest wildlife reserve. Fantastically remote, with seemingly endless stretches of grassland and sandy desert, the CKGR was originally established as a place for the San to practice their traditional lifestyle without intrusion. After having breakfast you will start your game drive to explore the flora and fauna in the reserve.
Wake up in the morning and have breakfast and head on to Makgadikgadi Pan for another safari experience. Makgadikgadi Pans National Park is a unique safari destination in Africa, and one of Botswana’s offbeat and contrasting parks when compared to the popular Moremi in Okavango Delta or Chobe. It is located south east of the Okavango Delta within the Kalahari Desert ecosystem. The Makgadikgadi Pans are salt Pans that approximately cover an area of 12000 sq. km, a remnant of the famous and ancient Lake Makgadikgadi that was once larger than Switzerland drying up thousand years ago. Its African safari experiences offers stark nature viewing that is striking and contrasting when compared to the Okavango Delta. Makgadikgadi now consists of many large salt pans the largest of which reaches 4,900 km2 - which are seasonally covered in water and grass. Wildebeest, zebra and flamingos congregate on the pans, and ancient baobab trees dot the surreal, salt desert. Packed lunch will be served. Read more
For another safari experience you will drive in the northeast tip of Moremi for another camping site at Khwai. You will spend 3 nights.
Khwai is reach in ever green trees and wildlife such as predators and prey. Lions and leopards sighting are some of the common game viewing highlights in the area, as well as exceptional birding such as Kingfishers and Wattled crane amongst many. This area encompasses of wetlands where water based activities are the best to experience the flood plains formed by the presently listed heritage site, the Okavango Delta. Amazing sighting for cats such as lions and leopards has been a memorable experience since the place existed. Old bull elephants are notable and permanently residing in the area flocking to the waterholes which sustain the survival of vast of wildlife during the dry season.
